Snap On has announced that it has received a MOTOR magazine Top 20 Tool Award for its Low Profile Ratchet and Socket Tool Set. This tool set was chosen by MOTOR’s technical editors as an innovative new product that helps make the jobs of professional shop owners and technicians easier, thereby helping them able to fix their customers’ cars and light trucks faster and more accurately. The Snap On tool set includes the 80-tooth low profile ratchet and nine 12-point low profile sockets tool.

This special and extremely helpful tool set features a low profile socket which combined with a low profile ratchet get the job done in the tightest work areas. It also has a low profile ratchet square drive design that works extremely well with the low profile socket to access tight clearance areas with no loss of strength. However this unique 3/8″ square drive on ratchet and socket tool also works with any 3/8″ sockets and ratchets. The tool has 80 teeth which means it requires fewer arcs to engage the next gear tooth, providing great access in confined areas. Plus the ratchet features seven teeth in full contact with gear to provide strength and durability. The tools in this set are manufactured from special alloy steel, that is precision forged and heat treated for optimum strength and durability. The nickel and chrome plating helps protect against corrosion and makes it extremely easy to wipe clean. It has a thin handle cross section which allows for greater accessibility in tight quarters. The nine piece socket set includes sockets from 8mm to 18mm in size.
This a fabulous tool set made by Snap On and can be seen by MOTOR magazine picking it as a top 2009 tool.
